Det var en sanning med modifikation detta, min ättelinje är cripto-ebreier, kryptojudar, och har aldrig bott i ovan nämnt Ghetto, utan istället längs Canałasso (Canal Grande), välintegrerade.

I had always thought the name Ghettaiolo was used only for Judeo-Ferrarese. This is the first time I have come across it referring Judeo-Venetian.

Several italojudaic languages can be referred to as ghettaioli giudeeschi, as for example, I believe, giudeo-ferrarese, giudeo-mantovano, giudeo-modenese, giudeo-reggiano, ma par préférence giudeo-veneziano, especially judæoveneziano though as I pressume You know, the term is derived from the Ghetto which originally was a venetian borough in Cannaregio with the name derived from the venetian word gheta, an area where iron foundries were located, it was were the smiths lived, before it became the Venetian Ghetto, for the jews, the first ghetto with the namne ghetto.

So, the term ghettaiolo is uttermost a term for the judeo-venetian language, and only secondary for the rest.
